The 59 acres surrounding Washington, D.C.’s National Cathedral were designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. and include the formal Bishop’s Garden, Olmsted Woods, and more.

Visiting the Bishop’s Garden and Cathedral Grounds

The gardens and grounds are always open, and free. Tours are available - info here on the National Cathedral Grounds and Gardens web page.
